The origins of a successful company
In the 19th century many individual growers in the region joined together out of economic necessity to form small wine-growing cooperatives: they aimed to work more efficiently by joining forces. In 1969, the major cooperatives merged with Hauptkellerei Koblenz to form the largest wine-growing cooperative in the state of Rheinland-Pfalz. The result was the creation of Moselland located in Bernkastel Kues. For more than a quarter of a century the name Moselland has guaranteed consistent high quality.
At Moselland quality begins right in the vineyard. Our wine-growers are experts in vineyard management, from planting to harvesting, thus they produce grapes of the highest quality which are delivered to our pressing and collection stations right next to the vineyards. Here our highly-qualified staff take over the vinification process using the most up-to-date equipment.
