Described as an idyllic working farm in Portugal, Quinta de Sant’Ana is located 30 minutes north of Lisbon. This family run wine estate strives to produce authentic and characterful wines. Grapes are grown in a cool climate with topography of steep slopes and calcareous clay soils. Just 12km from the Atlantic Ocean, these vineyards are exposed to a unique microclimate of cool nights, cloudy, misty mornings and sunny afternoons. Despite the steep slopes, all of the work in the vineyards are done by hand. This ensures that they pay meticulous attention to the fruit. Customizing care allows an understanding of the relationship between the vines an soil and guides the winery to produce perfect grapes.
